In July/August 2013 I spent six weeks travelling through Vietnam solo with my Fuji X-Pro 1 for company. I meandered from south to north starting in Ho Chi Minh City {aka Saigon} and visited the Mekong Delta, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Hue, Ha Noi, Sa Pa and Ha Long Bay. My challenge was to only shoot with the one camera and single 35mm F1.4 lens...and no flash. This was pure photographic indulgence and allowed me to become familiar with the rangefinder camera system, and to hone my travel photography skills.

I was fortunate to meet local Vietnamese photographers along the way who graciously gave me their time, and helped me to gain access to parts of the country I would not have found on my own. I wrote a blog about my journey and you can read this here.

This gallery is currently a work in progress to collate my favourite images from this journey.
